Tigani I Τηγάνι

"Tigani" is a peninsula in the region of "Mesa Mani". The name tigani in greek means "frying pan" and comes from the shape of this piece of land which enders the sea. Perhaps here was the location of the Frankish castle of Grand Magne. Laconia, Greece

Άποψη της χερσονήσου "Τηγάνι". Το άκρο αυτό της Μανιάτικης γής πείρε την ονομασία του από το σχήμα που έχει. Ισως εδώ να βρισκόταν το θρυλικό κάστρο της "Μαϊνης" από το οποίο όπως κάποιοι υποστηρίζουν ονοματοδοτήθηκε η Μάνη.
